But there is a lack of mental health providers - especially - for those who can related to disadvantaged people. A catch 22 yes you can get needed services but due to lack of available providers you need to wait 6-8 weeks. Then if people are finally referred to a provider - is that person sensitive to the needs of the people they are supposed to serve?

Maybe pastors can be used as medically appropriate as extenders for mental health care. After all the it is the ability to relate to people. In contrast a preeminent behavior specialists by academic skill may not be able to get along with a lamp post.
